Kalmana is a Mission Station of Chanda Diocese of Syro – Malabar Church. On 12th September 1998 Franciscan Handmaids of the Good Shepherd Sisters commenced their selfless service in this mission station. This includes mainly Nursery, Children’s Home, CLC Department, parish activities and social work for the people in the remote areas.
