In response to the invitation by the Diocese of Chanda, the first Syro Malabar Diocese outside Kerala, we started St. Antony’s Convent at Ghugus in Chandrapur District of Maharashtra on 14th June 2007.  It was the third convent in the state of Maharashtra. The presence of the Good Shepherd Sisters was a great inspiration to the people of the locality. Teaching and guiding the students, pastoral care of the faithful and families and sharing the gospel to the people are the core of our activities.
